JKBOSE Academic Calendar 2024-25 Released: Class 10, 12 Exams in March

Srinagar, January XX, 2023: The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has announced its academic calendar for the academic year 2024-25, providing key dates and schedules for students and educational institutions.

Examination Schedule:

As per the released calendar, the examinations for Class 10 and Class 12 students residing in soft zone areas will commence from March 2024. The soft zone areas include Jammu, Kathua, Samba, Budgam, Ganderbal, Srinagar, Kulgam, Anantnag, Pulwama, and Shopian. The results for these examinations are expected to be declared in June 2024.

For students in hard zone areas, which include Poonch, Rajouri, Reasi, Udhampur, Doda, Kishtwar, Ramban, Bandipora, Baramulla, and Kupwara, the examinations will begin from April 2024. The results for these areas will also be announced in June 2024.

Registration and Renewal Dates:

* Registration for Class 9 students: February-March 2024

* Renewal for Class 12 students: March-April 2024

* Renewal for Class 11 students: April-May 2024

Other Important Dates:

* First term assessments: November-December 2023

* Second term assessments: March-April 2024

* Winter vacations: December-January 2023-24

* Summer vacations: May-June 2024

Academic Session:

The JKBOSE academic session for 2024-25 will begin on March 10, 2024, and end on November 29, 2024.
