Princess Anne Returns to Royal Duties with No Memory of Horse Accident

Princess Anne, the Princess Royal, has returned to her royal engagements after spending nearly four weeks in the hospital following a horse-riding accident. However, reports indicate that she has no memory of the incident that led to her hospitalization.

The accident occurred on August 12th during an equestrian event in Gloucestershire, England. Princess Anne was riding her horse, Doublet, when she fell and sustained a fractured collarbone and two compression fractures of her spine.

After being airlifted to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital, the Princess underwent surgery and remained in hospital for 23 days. During that time, she was visited by her mother, Queen Elizabeth II, and her brother, Prince Charles.

Upon her release from hospital on September 8th, Princess Anne immediately resumed her royal duties. She has since attended several engagements, including a visit to the Great Yorkshire Show and a reception for the Royal British Legion.

However, royal expert Michael Cole has stated that it is unlikely that the Princess will ever recall the accident that led to her injuries.

"She has had a severe head injury and will have lost her memory of the accident, and probably of the days immediately before and after it," Cole said. "It is very rare for people to recover their memory after such an injury."

Cole added that the accident will likely remain a mystery.

"We may never know exactly what happened," he said. "The Princess herself can't remember it, and there were no witnesses to the fall."

Despite her memory loss, Princess Anne is determined to carry on with her royal duties. According to a source close to the Princess, she is "working as hard as ever."

"She's not letting this injury slow her down," the source said. "She's a very resilient person."

Princess Anne's return to royal duties is a testament to her commitment to her role. Despite the challenges she has faced, she remains dedicated to serving the Royal Family and the people of the United Kingdom.
