Kolkata, July 12, 2024: The West Bengal Council of Higher Education (WBCHSE) has released the WBCAP first merit list and the seat allotment result for 2024. The merit list and seat allotment results are available on the official website, wbcap.in.

Important Dates

* Release of First Merit List and Seat Allotment Result: July 12, 2024

* Last Date to Accept Seat Allotment: July 17, 2024

* Reporting to Allotted Institution: July 19-21, 2024

How to Check the WBCAP Merit List and Seat Allotment Result

1. Visit the official website of WBCAP: wbcap.in

2. Click on the "Merit List and Seat Allotment Result" tab

3. Enter your roll number and password

4. Click on the "Submit" button

5. The merit list and seat allotment result will be displayed on the screen

6. Check your rank, college allotted, and other details carefully

Acceptance of Seat Allotment

Candidates who have been allotted a seat must accept the allotment by logging in to the WBCHSE portal and clicking on the "Accept Seat" button. The last date to accept the seat allotment is July 17, 2024.

Reporting to Allotted Institution

Candidates who have accepted the seat allotment must report to the allotted institution by July 19-21, 2024. They will need to bring the following documents:

* WBCHSE Rank Card

* Seat Allotment Letter

* Original Class 10th and 12th mark sheet

* Caste certificate (if applicable)

* Disability certificate (if applicable)

* Migration certificate (if applicable)

Subsequent Merit Lists

The WBCHSE will release subsequent merit lists if there are any vacant seats after the first round of seat allotment. Candidates who were not allotted a seat in the first round can participate in the subsequent rounds.
